MATATABI FARM (木天蓼開放農場！）

COLD HOT-SPRING

For those that don't know, we operate 12,000 PING Open-Farm Matatabi Mountain in Chungju Korea!

This place is known for cold hotspring too! The photo above is a cold stream-line coming from the top of the mountain. Water is extremely cool and nice.This is one of my favorite parts about our Matatabi Open-Farm!

Tall trees provide just enough shade! Matatabi leaves grow in high altitude, cool-breeze scene. While sunlight is definetly important,direct hot sun-light makes matatabi harder to grow.

It can't get any more natural than this! It took us about 45 minutes to climb up (only about 1/3 of the way to the top!)

Matatabi Roots! This is how our matatabi roots look like!

We let roots stay in soil for over 2 years! Strong roots provide a lot of nutrition for leaves to grow big full of scent! This is why cats quickly fall in love with our Matatabi!

MATATABI IS A "VINE" PLANT.

IT STARTS WITH ROOTS FROM THE GROUND AND GROWS UPWARDS!

Left is a Matatabi Fruit (Gall) --> This is when eggs are hatched inside the fruit, making the plant extremely bitter and potent!

Right nut is how matatabi fruit originally looks. It's a baby fruit!

We also stopped by to check our newly built extract factory! We plan to use our plants ingredient to make all natural skin care series~

Our factory will begin operation in November 2023! Stay tuned!
